In the year leading up to actually signing the contract wit this company I was nervous and unsure as to whom to trust with the sale of my parents home. With my father deceased and my elderly stepmom having recently moved into a care facility this decision weighed heavily on my mind. The proceeds from the sale after paying off their reverse mortgage was needed to help pay for her housing and care for the rest of her life. AS it was her home, I wanted to include my stepmom in as much of the negotiations as possible. Barry Lance took the time to sit down with her and I at the nursing home in her private apartment. He explained everything in a kind and caring way we both could understand. He arranged for a mobile notary to come to the nursing home and was even present when it came time to sign the documents. He graciously gave us an extra 10 days after closing in order for my niece to complete her move out of the house. On Mother’s Day shortly after we closed escrow he even allowed myself and my granddaughter to return to the house and cut a huge bouquet of flowers my dad had planted for her in the front yard to take to my stepmom and another bouquet for my granddaughter.
